For a developing country like Philippines, energy crisis poses the biggest threat to its growing economy. Summers in the country are frequented with periodic brownouts and blackouts. Hydropower, which is the major source of electricity often dwindles during the hot summer days. Capitalizing the abundantly available Solar power by installing solar farms is the only way to overcome the energy crisis in the time of need.

A Solar farm that could energize a section of the community normally requires 30,000 holes to be drilled in the ground for its installation which would take up to one year and requires a huge number of labourers when done manually. Alkhong Trading (Sterling & Willsons) equipped with PRD’s Tractor Mounted Drill Rigs did the same job in just 1/3rd of the time with less than half the number of men.

Now businesses and schools can run constantly without any power shortage threats, thanks to PRD’s reliable and super-fast drilling rigs.
