GLOBAL NEWS - SALES CONFERENCE 2021
For the first time, a yearly sales conference has been planned outside factory premises. This is planned to have non-distractive and fully focussed brainstorming sessions to understand the achievements of PRD and the way forward. this will be focused on sales as well as design, production, and quality.
Individual performance and plans will be discussed to the core for better guiding by top management. After the conference will have outdoor sightseeing and activities for refreshing thoughts.

WHAT’S NEW IN THE FACTORY - THE LED DISPLAY ON WHEELS
In Paranthaman Exporters as we are organizing a weekly QC meeting every Wednesday, we organize such that we have an improvement in four major Arrears of Production – Knowledge, Productivity, Teamwork, and Safety. We have a lot of presentations given to improve their Knowledge, helping everyone to think at a different level. To share the presentation and videos to the whole crowd of 200 employees. We needed a large screen display.
With the support of the management team we have planned and completed the set up of the PR system with the inclusion of a 75inch LED display on wheels and a custom made speaker for the use of audio clarity to match the acoustic of the factory.
During the first week of February, we had a video presentation of ULA the production of Rockets. This was an exclusive video as it was the only video to be shot about the production of rockets. And in the following weeks, we were privileged to have Mr.Chandramohan – Deputy inspector of factory Erode district to come and have a safety training program for our Team. The team says the inspector of factory safety presentation was very informative with live examples which were very relatable. We thank Mr.Chandramohan. For his presence and teaching to our team and we sincerely hope that we follow the safety regulations to the standards of International companies.

TECHNICAL CORNER - ENGINE EMISSION
The rapid growth of the automotive industry in India is facing environmental issues. To improve the current status of exhaust emissions from automobiles Government of India decided to implement Bharat Stage VI (BS-VI) norms from April 2020. by skipping of BS-V, Indian original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) are now facing a big challenge of confirming these norms. Sustainable mobility is the only solution that includes improvements in existing engine technology, fuel, and the use of after-treatment devices.
Bharat stage Emission Standards (BSES)
Bharat stage Emission Standards (BSES) are emission standards instituted by the Government of India to regulate the output of air pollutants from internal combustion engines including motor vehicles. The standards, based on European regulations were first introduced in 2000.
Major types of pollutants
Carbon dioxide (CO2),
Carbon monoxide (CO)
Hydrocarbons (HC) and
Oxides of nitrogen (NOx)
Particulate matter (PM), or carbon soot
Emission Control Technologies
It can be grouped into four categories:
(1) Engine design techniques,
(2) Fuel and lubricant related technologies,
(3) Exhaust gas after treatment.
(4) Control, diagnostics & powertrain technologies
Each of these approaches can be divided into sub-categories, as shown in the following tables. In addition, powertrain integration and control technologies play a very important role in reducing emissions and improving the engine and vehicle efficiency.
